I met Heather Melzer in person several years ago at CHA and our mutual love of Justin Timberlake quickly let me realize this was a chick I would like.... I love her family movie nights, and although our busy sports practice schedule of a overly team committed 11 year old has kept me from trying any of them I have always thought I would.... And now I am so excited to see that Hallmark is showcasing one of her Movie Night ideas... You can check it out on their facebook page! Since Jake left earlier today to head south to the beach for the week with my mom and sister I think that this spring break week will provide us the perfect opportunity to do a movie night with Eli... I am going to go surf through Heather's blog to find which one I want to tackle! You should do the same!
And... as I was just getting out clothes for Easter for Eli- it made me think of this layout I did with a picture of him in the same outfit he will wear for Easter... This little boy amazes me... he has been in our family for almost 3 years now- I can't remember life without him... he has come so far- yet admittedly has so far to go... just a few minutes ago I heard him open the front door and say to the grandson of our neighbor whom he has been playing with a lot lately... "I can't play right now, I'm leaving, we will play tomorrow" now to many this wouldn't be that impressive for a 7 year old.. but first off for him to put that many words together is amazing... and the fact that he is developing a friendship with a peer - well that is so exciting! I love seeing these little steps he is making!
Oh.... and once the Easter Bunny hops away on Sunday I will be doing a little hopping myself... blog hopping that is! This time with American Crafts--- check back Monday to see a layout featuring the new Adobe line and maybe a giveaway too ;)
Love your blog, I am a follower now!

It was nice to meet Eli in person at your crop. It sounds like you have every reason to be proud of him. :)
Hope you had a wonderful Easter! (We sure did.)
